Traveling from Finland to Russia

The traveling and visa restrictions between Finland and Russia are cancelled.

Visas can be obtained and foreigners are allowed to travel to Russia. 

A foreign citizen must  still present to the border authority a certificate of a negative Covid-19 PCR test not exceeding 72 hours old in English or Russian

Covid test 

Upon arrival to Russia a foreign citizen must present the border authority a certificate of a negative Covid-19 PCR test not exceeding 72 hours old in English or Russian. A test result is also required for passengers continuing to a third country. Kindly note that a certificate of being recovered from corona virus or Antigen test taken before the trip, are not valid for the Russian border authority. 

 As of 07.07.2021 Russian citizens don’t have to take tests or remain in quarantine in case they have a vaccination certificate (valid for 1 year) or certificate of being recovered from coronavirus (valid for 6 months) from gosuslugi.ru service. Vaccination got abroad or certification of being recovered from coronavirus got abroad, are not valid for the Russian border authority.

Arrival to Finland

As of 01.07.2022 Finland there is no any restrictions on crossing border and Covid test requirements.
