M/S Princess Maria

M/S Princess Maria was built on the Turku shipyard in 1981 under the name M/S Finlandia. It sailed between Helsinki and Stockholm until the beginning of 1990s when it was replaced by Silja Serenade. After that the ship cruised between Denmark, Norway and Great Britain under Danish ownership as Queen of Scandinavia. Now it has come to sail the route between Helsinki and St. Petersburg fully remodelled and modernised.

M/S Princess Maria is 168 metres long and its passenger capacity is 1638 passengers.

Cabin Classes

B

A functional cabin for travelling. B cabin is equipped with a toilet and shower, air conditioning and a desk. The space is used extremely well, maximum four (4) passengers.

A

A cabin with a window for a maximum of four (4) passengers. You can also work in this cabin. The cabin has a desk and toile with shower, and is 9 m² in size. A cabins are also available for allergic or disabled passengers.

Commodore

A Commodore class cabin is decorated with sea themed paintings, and the windows open up to a view of the Baltic Sea. The furnishings include a flat screen TV, coffee table and arm chairs for comfort, as well as a shower. There is a minibar in the lounge area. Commodore cabin is 12 m² in size and can accommodate up to three (3) people.

DeLuxe

A DeLuxe cabin is a stylish cabin with a window, a suitable option for those wanting a bit more luxury out of their trip. The amenities include a luxurious Queen size bed, spacious bath room, flat screen TV and a mini bar in the lounge area. The DeLuxe cabin accommodates two (2) people and is 20 m² in size. Breakfast in the Explorer's restaurant is included in the price.

M/S Princess Maria is a fully furbished, modern and luxurious cruiser on the Baltic Sea. The ship has several bars and restaurants, a movie theatre and sauna section with a swimming pool. Children have not been forgotten for the ship has a Kidz' Club play room and a nanny.

Sauna Section and Pools

The ship has a sauna section for men and women and two swimming pools. Both pools have a pool bar and a nice lounge area. The use of the sauna section costs 10€ for 1,5 hours. The use of the sauna is free for customers in Commodore and DeLuxe cabins every morning from 6 to 10 o'clock.

Children's Play Room

The Kid'z Club, a play room meant for children 3 – 10 years old, is situated next to Bake 'n Coffee. The room has a ball pit, toys, games etc. There is also a nanny present 18:00 – 23:00. Fee 10€/child.

Sea Shop

The souvenir shop Sea Shop serves its customers on the 4th floor of the ship. The shop is over 400 m² in size.

Meeting Rooms

The ship has a fully equipped auditorium, a luxurious Commodore lounge and several smaller meeting rooms available for business passengers.

Nemo Casino

Try your luck at Nemo Casino! Here you'll find all sorts of games – roulette, arcade machines and the most popular card games. The casino opens at 21:00 and closes after the last guest leaves.

Movie Theatre

The ship's movie theatre shows three movies a dy. The first show features a children's movie and the next two are for adults. The price of a movie is 5€.

Internet

Passengers in DeLuxe and Commodore cabins can use the internet in the VIP lounge on the meeting deck. Other passengers can connect their laptops to the ship's network for a fee of 10€.

General Information

Payment methods on the ship include euros, roubles, US dollars and most common credit cards, including Visa and MasterCard. The time notified are local times. Russian time is +1 hour to Finnish time.

Any alcoholic beverages will be collected at the St. Petersburg harbour and returned to the passengers when leaving the ship.
