Travel terms and conditions
These travel terms and conditions are applied to travel packages Day in St Petersburg Cruise Package, City Break Cruise Ferry Package to St Petersburg and City Break Train Package to St Petersburg. To packages are applied both General terms and conditions for package travel and special terms and conditions of Oy Russian Tours Ltd. Lähialuematkat as follows. General terms and conditions for package travel have been agreed between the Association of Finnish Travel Agents and the Finnish Consumer Ombudsman. These terms and conditions apply to contracts concluded on or after 1 July 2018.
Day in St Petersburg Cruise Package from Helsinki
Terms of payment
For bookings made at least 45 days prior to departure by paying the reservation fee 75 € p.p immediatelly. The final payment must be conducted not later than 45 days prior to departure.
For bookings made less than 45 days prior to departure by paying immediately 100% of the total package price.
The additional fee of 2% of the package price is charged additionally when paying the purchase by American Express, Diners Club, Visa (Nets) or MasterCard (Nets).
Terms of cancellation
The traveller has the right to cancel the booking at any time before the departure for the cruise. In such circumstances, Oy Russian Tours Ltd. Lähialuematkat will charge a cancellation fee as follows:
- 20% of the total package price and 18 € service fee , if the cancellation is made at least 31 days before departure
- 30 % of the total package price and 18 € service fee, if the cancellation is made 30 - 24 days before departure
- 50 % of the total package price and 18 € service fee, if the cancellation is made 23 - 18 days before the departure
- 100 % of the total package price and 18 € service fee, if the cancellation is made 17 days or less before the departure
Changes on reservation
Client has the right to chance passenger information (name, place and time of birth, sex, nationality, passport number and period of validity of passport) once for free. For further passenger information changes and other changes on reservation a service fee of 18 € p.p. is charged.
Liability for damages in case of Force Majeure
Neither the cruise company Moby SPL nor Oy Ltd. Russian Tours Lähialuematkat takes responsibility for the damages, caused for passengers due to unavoidable or exceptional circumstances to which Lähialuematkat nor Moby SPL cannot influence on. Such exceptional circumstances are, for instance, weather conditionas and proceedings of border and customs officials.
City Break Cruise Ferry Package to St Petersburg
Terms of payment

Terms for special cruise offers
Special price cruise packages can be booked at Lähialuematkat Russian Tours customer service at office by telephone. Reservations have to be paid in full on the moment of reservation. After the reservation is made, changes can not be made on reservation. In case of change or/and cancellation, fee is 100 %.

City Break Train Package to St Petersburg
Terms and conditions
To City Break Train Packages for self-reliant passengers are applied General terms for package travel and special terms of Oy Russian Tours Ltd. Lähialuematkat as follows:
Terms of payment
For bookings made not not less than 46 days prior to departure by paying the reservation fee 75 € p.p. when reservating the tour. The final payment must be conducted not later than 45 days prior to departure.
For bookings made 45 days or less before the departure by paying 100% of the total price.
The additional fee of 2% of the tour price is charged when paying by American Express, Diners Club, Visa (Nets) or MasterCard (Nets) credit cards.
Terms of cancellation
The passenger may cancel the package tour without special reason at any time. Cancellation fee will be charged by Oy Russian Tours Ltd. Lähialuematkat as follows:
- service fee 18 € p.p. when the booking is cancelled not less than 45 days prior to departure
- 75 € p.p. when the booking is cancelled earliest 45 days but not later than 21 days prior to departure
- 50% of package price when the booking is cancelled later than 21 days but not later than 7 days prior to departure
- 75 % of package price when the booking is cancelled later than 7 days but not later than 3 days prior to departure
- 95% of package price when the booking is cancelled later than 3 days prior to departure
Terms for event tickets
After Oy Russian Tours Ltd. Lähialuematkat has booked an entrance or event ticket for its client, it can not be cancelled or changes can not be made. The cancellation fee is then 100% of the ticket price and a service fee of 18 €. Entrance or event tickets are offered as additional service for instance, to theatre, concert, river cruise or guided bus tour, or to a sports event like ice hockey or football match.
Travel insurance
For the Russian visa travel insurance is obligatory. The passenger is responsible for his/her insurance cover. Oy Russian Tours Ltd. Lähialueamatkat recommends to purchase a proper travel insurance, which covers also luggage and cases such as cancellation of the tour.
Visa terms
When the visa application has been sent to the visa or invitation process, it cannot be retrieved or changed. The cancellation cost is 100 % of the total visa price. Oy Russian Tours Ltd. Lähialuematkat is not responsible for any price changes made by the Russian consulate or Ministry of the Interior of Russia, nor for the costs occurred by changes in the visa process or regulations. All prices are presented without liability.
Passenger´s responsibilities and rights
The passenger must provide the tour operator his address and telephone number when booking the travel package. The passenger must provide the first and last names of all passengers as they are written on passport.
The passenger is responsible for checking the correctness of booked services and passenger information on the Order confirmation provided by Oy Russian Tours Ltd. Lähialuematkat, and contact immediately Customer Service in case they are not correct.
According to General terms and conditions of travel package a passenger has the right to change passenger information or transfer the travel package to another passenger as long as the other person satisfies the terms and conditions of the package. About changing the passenger information or transfering the travel package to another person must be informed immediately Oy Russian Tours Ltd. Lähialuematkat, who investigates at the service provider (railway company, hotel etc.) the possibility and conditions for changes.
Money exchange rate
The tour prices are based on exchange rates of the day of pricing the package tour and are subject to changes.
Recommendations for safety and vaccination
Local authorities are responsible for foreign travellers´s safety in the destination country. Travellers should behave according to local circumstances. Oy Russian Tours Ltd. recommends its clients to make themselves familiar with travel and vaccination recommendations at own country´s, for instance, Ministery of Foreign Affairs, National Institute of National Health and Welfare, insurance company etc.
Security provided by Oy Russian Tours Ltd. Lähialuematkat
Oy Russian Tours Ltd. Lähialuematkat has provided a security according to Finnish Act on Providers of Travel Service Combinations (921/2017). Security provided by Lähialuematkat covers Day in St Petersburg Cruise from Helsinki, City Break Cruise Ferry Package to St Petersburg amd Cotu Break Package by train to St Petersburg and taylor made leisure travel packages.

Booking a travel package which is sold on Online Shop - service fee 0 €
Customised travel package - service fee 48 € p. reservation
Customised travel package for Trans-Siberian or Trans-Mongolian train trip - 100 € p. plan. In case the tour is booked, service fee of 100 € is compensated in the final invoice. The service fee of the booked trip is 48 € p. reservation.
Train ticket booking when no other travel services are booked:
- Train tickets for Allegro or Tolstoi-trains (1 - 5 persons only together with the Russian visa) - service fee 18 € p. reservation
- Train tickets for Allegro or Tolstoi-trains for a group (min 6 persons) service fee 48 € p. reservation
- Train tickets for Russian domestic trains - service fee 48 € p. reservation
Additional fees
An additional fee of 2% of the tour price is charged when paying by American Express, Diners Club, Visa (Nets) or MasterCard (Nets) credit cards.
