Fingerprint submission for Chinese visa to start 25.9.

The Chinese consulate in Helsinki has informed, that starting from 25.9.2018, all visa applicants between the age of 14 and 70 must book and personally attend an appointment at the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in order to submit their biometric data (fingerprints) for a Chinese visa. The biometric data will be stored for 5 years at a time. Chinese Visa Application Service Center is located in Helsinki, address Salomonkatu 17B, 3.th floor.

Instructions for our clients:

Deliver all Chinese visa documents to Lähialuematkat office. Once the documents have been checked by us, we will call you to book you a date for a personal visit to China Visa Application Service Center. Go and take the biometrics on scheduled day between 10 – 14.30. In case you apply for an express visa, go on scheduled day between 10 – 11.30. Kindly mention, that your visa documents have been delivered already by Lähialuematkat SoloVisa team. The Visa Application Service Center will start the visa process after your biometrics are filed. Thereafter, the process continue normally until the visa is ready.

Documents left us tomorrow morning to be submitted without biometrics:

Chinese consulate will be closed on weekends and on Monday 24.9. However, the Visa Application Service Center will be open on Monday and will take visa documents against prebooking. If you want to avoid submitting biometrics by now, you will need to deliver all visa documents to our Vuorimiehenkatu office on Friday morning 21.9. at the latest, to be submitted further.
