Finnish citizens do not need a Chinese visa if they fly though Beijing or Shanghai to third country. The period of stay should not exceed 72 hours in Beijing nor 144 hours in Shanghai.
Effective 1.2.2018, passengers who travel via China under the TWOV (Transit Without Visa) facility must hold passports that are valid minimum 3 months, at time of arrival to China.
